PEDER NIELSENS PLADS BRØNDERSLEV

Sketching, detailed design, tender, and finalisation of Peder Nielsens Plads in Brønderslev. Layout of a traffic space and the city's new urban space. Sketches and projection of paving and recreational areas, lighting, plantation etc. Includes a special design of an event area, complete with a stage and a fountain that invites children to play, as well as fog/mist effects, play area, and identity-building plant beds. Inaugerated in the fall of 2025.

DEVELOPMENTAL POSSIBILITIES FOR AALBORG HARBOUR

Preliminary study and analysis of "Stykgodshavnen" Aalborg Harbour. Assessment of potential development for the transformation of the eastern part of the harbour - close to the overall infrastructure with a beautiful view of the inlet, Limfjorden. Developmental scenarios and volume studies.

DRONNINGLUND CITY IS IN NEED OF A HOUSE OF CULTURE

A place for everyone across all ages, gender, ethnicity, interests, and activities. We want to revitalize parts of the city's historical buildings and create functionality which embraces the original qualities, as well as the desires and demands of a functioning city. 

Development of the first sketches and ideas for a house of culture, a vision for the actors and the building, first space allocation and volume studies. The building is located in the central part of the city, where activities and functionalities plays a part in supporting urban life. The social clubs and societies of the city is very active, but future framework demands are missing.

GUIDELINES - ART

Design guidelines for the embellishment of roundabouts and intersections along Kystvejen in the Thy area.  

The proposals for the embellishments will be able to highlight the qualities and possible experiences of the area, through a deliberate aesthetical choice of artistic expression. These recommendations will aid to the creation of a connected narrative and information about the region, for locals as well as visitors. 

The proposals do not determine what is deemed as 'good' or 'beautiful' art, however, only providing guidelines for placement, size, materials, and colors. 

The proposals for the embellishment of the five roundabouts and intersections was realized in co-operation with representatives from five cities in the fall of 2021.

THY SEASIDE RESORT

Application from after pilot scheme for coast and nature tourism. 

The project for Thy Seaside Resort is a transformation of an already existing campingspot - Hanstholm camping, where future use will focus less on camping. The project will transform into an exclusive all-year nature resort, with lodging capacity in a hotel and housing units placed within nature. Other than lodging, the project will aid to the region image as a tourist destination, shaped through the qualities of the surrounding nature and landscape. This destination will therefore create a larger number of possibilities experiences and activities for the coast and nature tourism. The unique placement on the coast ensures an authentic atmosphere, which is hard to recreate in other areas, thereby strengthening the coast and nature tourism on a local and international level.

CLIMATE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FOUR CITIES IN CAMBODIA

Climate recommendations for the four largest cities outside Phnom Penh. An assessment of climate vulnerability and adjustment, which creates a foundation for new planning measures. The project includes new proposals for land utilization and masterplans, as well as examples of implementation in the legislation.

TRAFFIC ANALYSIS RANDERS

Proces consulting. Clausholm in Randers becomes a part of the "Climate Bridge" and Havnevejen. Residents have expressed concern over the increased traffic that is expected on Clausholmvej. CLAUS OTTO AREALUDVIKLING and NIRAS assisted in facilitating the process of creating concrete proposals for traffic solutions.

BUILDING CONSULTATION 

I have, in association with the skilled people of Erik Sørensen BYG AS, been a part of implementing a larger construction at Stigsborg in Aalborg. Building plot B16 will include about 125 new apartments. Developed by Enggard A/S and designed by CF Møller. It has become a beautiful, well-rounded, and exciting construction on a fantastic location. 

I am the building consultant for a number of clients/projects, who requests possibilities of developments, building projects, possibilities of profit etc.

INVITING ARTERIAL ROADS 

Inviting arterial roads to Hobro - a strategy for a more beautiful arrival to the city. 

An interdisciplinary strategy that gives Hobro's arterial roads a fresh new look, as well as connecting traffic, city, and landscape harmoniously. 

The goal is to beautify the existing roads, in order to make them more functional traffic corridors and acts as the city's gateway image. The strategy combines traffic planning, aesthetics, landscapes, and city planning as a unified whole. The result is the arterial roads that not only leads the drivers into Hobro - but also welcomes them

THE HILLSIDE HOUSES

Adjustment of new houses in the beautiful hillside area of Frejlev. Proposal for types of houses and placement in regard to reestablishing of the characteristic landscape created by the Yoldia sea. The local plan has the final vote for the project area.

TRANSFORMATION OF "THE OLD TAXI PARK" UGANDA

The overall idea of transforming the area by the old taxipark in Kampala, Uganda, to the new iconic "Impala-mountain - Steps of Kampala", is to transform the old taxipark to a new, more modern, mobility hub, together with new private and public services, housing, and green areas, creates a prerequisite for a thriving urban life. 

The future constructions are in an active and vivid city structure, with green qualities and recreational areas, that will aid in the commercial and recreational life in the city center.
